Rhianna Toms was South Mildura’s best in their win over Robinvale Euston.

REIGNING premiers South Mildura kept their undefeated season going with a 66-43 win over Robinvale Euston at home on Saturday.

Rhianna Toms and Demalza Henry were the best for the Bulldogs, with Georgia Giofrelle and Corinne Best doing their bit for the Eagles.

After three rounds, Wentworth and South Mildura remain the only undefeated sides, the Roos sitting top on percentage, with Irymple and Imperials rounding out the top four.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________                                                             The following is the round 3 summary from the weekly footy guide (R4)

Well after 3 rounds and still looking for our first win the pressure is on as we tackle Wentworth on their home paddock today.

After drawing possibly 3 out of the 4 main contenders for the 2019 honors in our first 3 rounds our young senior group have seen firsthand what is required to

get the win, however this group have certainly taken steps and produced some really entertaining football but not for 4 quarters which as we all known will get chocolates at the final siren.

Pratty will have the boys pumped up today and will be looking for that bit extra out of his entire 22 warriors to get over the line, we look forward to a great contest later on this afternoon. A special mention must go to young Tristan Parker who last week made his senior football debut against Robinvale/Euston. In his first hit out Tristan held his own and we look forward to his efforts for the rest of the season, we also saw our ever reliable war horse in Anthony Gauci return to the senior side after being unavailable in rounds 1 & 2.

Our A-Grade netballers are charging their way into the season and sending out a clear message to the rest of the comp, currently sitting at 3-0 after 3 rounds senior coach Loretta Thompson has the girls up and about and are defending their 2018 title with vigor. As with our senior footballers youth is the essence of this side, the slick ball movement up and down the court giving our dynamic goal shooting duo in Demi Toms & Kendall McLean every opportunity to score heavily every game, again we look forward to a great hit out today against Wentworth.

We would also like to thank all our sponsors and supporters who have again signed on for 2019, our general membership drive this year has seen an increase in financial members which is fantastic to see, your continued support to the cause is pivotal to the Bulldogs succeeding, thank you!!

We have some up coming events in the next few weeks, next Saturday night is our annual Back2Front Draw with a $4K prize for the last ticket standing, please see any club personal to arrange your ticket, it’s always a fantastic night so don’t miss out. Also we will be hosting the Inter-league game on May 18th, so get down to #3 that Saturday to support our Sunraysia rep side against Heathcote…..
