Bulldogs appoint new Senior Football Playing Coach

The SMSC is excited to announce that Luke Sicker has signed on as our new senior playing coach for the next two seasons.

Luke brings a wealth of experience to the role, being a previous senior coach for GGGM in the Riverina Football League and Brothers Bulldogs in Bundaberg, QLD. Luke is also a SNFL premiership player back in 2013, former club captain, and SNFL League representative.

After missing the majority of the past two COVID19 interrupted seasons due to family commitments, Luke was always looking to establish himself locally again in the playing and coaching ranks, and the opportunity to once again pull on the boots whilst utilising his coaching credentials, was one he could not pass up.

The South connection is also there with his past 1998 South premiership player, Scott Lawton, being his Uncle.

We cannot wait for Luke to get started, with pre-season training for season 2023 set to commence on Wednesday the 19th of October at the Mildura Sporting Precinct.

We welcome Luke, his wife Shantelle and three daughters, Wynter, Rumi, and Tallulah.
